Aside from my educational background in English and public relations, I’ve spent a combination of over ten years as a communications professional in a number of different settings: from corporate to nonprofit to higher education.
A nice chunk of those ten years has been spent writing, translating and editing very technical pieces so that they’re easily digestible. Much of that technical subject matter centered on public health and health information technology.
Internal and external communications have been my knack. I enjoy crafting key messages that build cultures within organizations and create voices that represent brands consistently outside organizations.
Brands have personalities, too. I understand how to use digital communications to make sure those shine through.
